The Senior Systems Administrator will manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of systems that support core organizational functions.
- Install, configure, and manage server infrastructure
- Administer Windows systems
- Setting up accounts and workstations
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and identity/access controls
- Manage Microsoft 365 environment
- Manage virtualization platform
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Lead system upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues
- Help users with IT issues
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Assist in maintaining compliance with CMMC by supporting security controls, documentation, and audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
Qualifications:
MUST BE A US PERSON, ELIGIBLE TO WORK FOR ANY EMPLOYER IN THE UNITED STATES
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of systems administration experience
- Strong expertise in Windows server operating systems
- Extensive experience managing and supporting Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, user and group administration, and domain services
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Microsoft Purview
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
