Position/Titles:

• Security Officer Site Supervisor for Winery

Job Description:

As a Security Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. 
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are to conduct camera patrols of various different wineries in the area. Officers also do access control, vehicle patrols, and emergency response. As site supervisor, training of new staff, and ensuring the winery staff is assisted as needed. 

Shifts:

Tuesday - - - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Wednesday - - - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Thursday - - - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday - - - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Saturday - - - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Compensation:

$23.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
  • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
  • 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
