Armor Health is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for our healthcare program at Blair County Prison. This 4-hour-per-week position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the health of an underserved patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction and clinical oversight for the facility's healthcare program.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Review and approve clinical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols.
• Provide medical consultation and guidance to the clinical team.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania MD or DO license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
