Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Health Services Administrator to join our team at Bell County Jail in Belton, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assists the HSA in directing and coordinating administrative functions and enforcing adherence to federal, state, correctional health care standards and institutional regulations and guidelines in the provision of services.
• Reviews administrative polices to ensure adherence to contract and regulatory requirements and report any concerns or deficiencies to the HSA.
• Assists in recruiting professional staff and independent contractors as required.
• Reviews annual budgets for the facility and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis for the HSA.
• Maintains network development to ensure contract compliance and budgetary compliance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Administration required
• Strong health care administrator background with a clinical credential (RN, LPN, Behavioral Health Professional) is ideal in this environment
• Willing to travel 10%
• Three years of administrative healthcare experience required
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Solid understanding of data analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Experience leading a team of healthcare professionals
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
