Armor Equipment is a full-service distributor and service center for private and municipal refuse, street, and sewer customers. Our environmental product offerings include street sweeping equipment; sewer cleaning, maintenance, and televising equipment; trash, debris, and leaf collection units; containers, compactors, and balers; and grapple loaders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones and greet customers / vendors.
  • Process daily timesheets.
  • Set up and maintain sales orders.
  • Update and maintain labor tracking information.
  • Review Service and Shop work orders for accuracy and provide to Service Manager.
  • Process Service and Shop customer invoices in Sage 100, post, and send to customers.
  • Maintain and update customer and vendor files.
  • Pick up and distribute mail daily.
  • Process daily customer payments, enter in Sage 100, and post.
  • Receive packing slips, match up with vendor invoices, purchase orders.
  • Review and verify accuracy of vendor invoices and enter and post into Sage 100.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient typing and computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic accounting knowledge or aptitude.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the job.
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress, and preparation.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.

Working Conditions: Hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
