GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Veterinary & Poultry Supply, Inc. (VPSI) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to manage and grow our Ohio territory. This position is responsible for driving sales of VPSI products and services through direct customer engagement, territory development, and relationship management. The successful candidate will actively prospect for new business opportunities while providing exceptional customer service, product support, and training to existing and prospective customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective customers within the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
- Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory to achieve budgeted sales objectives and growth goals.
- Conduct customer sales calls, both in person and virtually, to promote products, secure orders, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Process customer orders, coordinate returns, and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts based on customer needs, market trends, and historical purchasing patterns.
- Create and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for dealers, customers, and end users.
- Actively prospect for new business opportunities and expand market share within the assigned territory.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and business needs.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, management, customers, vendors, and suppliers to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory and periodically outside of the normal sales route as business needs require.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
The employee must have demonstrated experience and/or education as outlined below in order to satisfactorily perform the essential job duties and responsibilities. Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in outside sales, distributor sales, manufacturer sales, customer service, or inside sales preferred.
- Experience in agriculture, animal health, veterinary, poultry, livestock, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as mobile technology and CRM/business software.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate margins, percentages, fractions, and decimals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- This position may require employee to operate Company provided vehicle or their own personal vehicle to conduct work-related business and therefore requires a valid drivers license, clean DMV record and current vehicle registration.

Salary : $50,000 - $52,000
