WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a seamless and positive employee experience.
  • Own office readiness, organization, and upkeep, including conference rooms, shared spaces, kitchen areas, supplies, and workplace amenities.
  • Oversee office inventory and ordering, including food and beverages, office supplies, kitchen supplies, and workplace amenities.
  • Coordinate office maintenance requests, repairs, and facility-related projects in partnership with building management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related vendors, including building management, IT providers, office services, and maintenance partners.
  • Support office logistics, visitor experience, candidate visits, client meetings, and workplace organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency, employee experience, and overall office operations.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating office events, celebrations, employee engagement activities, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Partner with the Manager of Talent & Operations and the Head of Chicago to support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities, special projects and other operational initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding workplace-related needs and questions.
  • Help cultivate a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive workplace environment that reflects Armitage’s values.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5 years of experience in office management, workplace experience, administrative operations, or a related role. Experience at a professional services firm is a plus.
  • Able and willing to work regularly from the Chicago office (4-5x a week), given the in-person nature of the role.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to anticipate needs before they become issues and take ownership of keeping the office running smoothly in a fast-paced, growing business.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, facilities partners, and other external partners as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, or people operations functions is a plus.
  • Experience planning employee engagement events or workplace cultural initiatives.


WHAT WE OFFER:

  • A reasonable pay scale for this role is $80,000 – $120,000 The pay scale for this role reflects a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business development capabilities, and other business and organizational needs. At Armitage, it is not typical for an employee, at any level, to be hired at or near the top of the salary range, as compensation decisions are dependent on the factors listed above.
