Duties
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Navigate routes efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by being courteous and professional.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
- Strong attention to detail for safety checks and record keeping.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.

We are a trucking warehousing company with headquarters on the east Coast.
We are looking for drivers that have their own trucks, willing to do daytime moves, Local Delivers and Long Hauls and work ports.
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $2,000.00 - $5000.00 per week
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
