Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (25 hours/week)
Compensation: $11.00 per hour
Position OverviewThe ASYMCA is looking for a proactive, high-energy Front Desk Receptionist who serves as the face of our office. This is not just a "sit-behind-the-desk" role; we need a true team player who is ready to jump into various program areas, from assisting in early childhood classrooms to managing our food pantry inventory. Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Administration:
Guest Relations: Greet all visitors with a professional and welcoming attitude; ensure every guest is assisted promptly.
Communication: Manage a multi-line phone system, answer inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Facility Care: Maintain a clean and organized lobby and front desk area; perform light cleaning and tidying during downtime
Data & Systems: Learn and assist with Daxco (our registration system) to manage memberships and program sign-ups.
Digital Organization: Maintain and update computer records and Excel spreadsheets to ensure program data is accurate and current.
Program Support & Logistics:
Operation Deploy Your Dress (ODYD): Assist with hanging, organizing, and displaying formal wear donations.
Food Pantry: Perform as needed inventory updates, organize stock, and ensure the pantry is ready for families in need.
Operation Little Learners (OLL): Step into the classroom to assist with daily tasks, activities, and student engagement as needed.
Baby Bundles: Assemble essential supply bundles for new parents or lead and train volunteers on the assembly process.
Adaptability: Must be willing to shift gears quickly between administrative tasks and hands-on program support.
Team Spirit: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
Organization: Strong attention to detail, especially regarding inventory management and scheduling.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with guests, volunteers, and staff.
Reliability: Consistent attendance during the specified M-F morning shift.
Salary : $11
