ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Payable: Review and enter vendor invoices, member payments and insurance claim payments. Assist with check runs.
- Annuitant Administration: Provide support for annuitant administration, including customer service, payment processing, correspondence, and preparation of tax-related schedules.
- Account Reconciliations: Maintain account reconciliations.
- Cash Receipts: Review and post cash receipts.
- Journal Entry Processing: Prepare journal entries on an as needed basis.
- Audit and Tax Support: Provide support for annual financial statement audit requests and IRS Form 1099 processing, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of college-level accounting courses, highly preferred.
- Basic accounting experience highly preferred, including familiarity with accounts payable, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (including PivotTables) required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
- Excellent communications skills (English).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, and reading comprehension required.
- Compassionate, patient and detail oriented.
- Individual must be able to work independently.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
