Role Description The Financial Services Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Colorado Springs, CO. In this position, the consultant will provide personalized financial guidance to military service members, federal employees, and their families, helping them understand and optimize their benefits and long-term financial plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client meetings, assessing financial needs, tax preparation and filing, analyzing benefits and options, and recommending tailored financial strategies and products. The consultant will prepare and review financial documents, maintain accurate records, and follow up with clients to ensure ongoing support and satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with team members, participating in community outreach or educational events, and staying current with relevant regulations and programs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have access to all military bases/installations around Colorado Springs.
- Candidates should possess knowledge in Finance and Financial Services, including basic investment, insurance, and retirement concepts. You will need a life insurance license, but we can work thru that as applicable.
- Candidates should possess Consulting skills, with experience providing client-focused advice and tailored recommendations.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex topics in accessible terms.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience working with military or federal communities, familiarity with government benefit programs, and a client-service mindset.
