Armed Forces Bank (AFB) is actively hiring a service-minded Recruit Specialist I for its team in Fort Leavenworth, KS. This is an onsite, Monday – Friday role with daytime hours. As a Recruit Specialist I you will communicate with military recruiters and recruits nationwide about Armed Forces Bank, N.A. (AFB) Recruit Program. By promoting the AFB Recruit Program, you will open new accounts utilizing a strong knowledge of the various military branches of service, recruiting, and recruiters.

Job Duties:
- Communicate with military recruits and recruiters via outbound communication regarding the Recruit Program, the bank and bank products
- Accept and respond to incoming military recruiter and recruit communication regarding the Recruit Program, the bank, and bank products
- Perform account opening and account maintenance via LiveCycle and Navigator
- Research, organize, and assemble information to support promotion efforts of Recruit Program to military recruiters and recruits
- Continual development of knowledge regarding the bank (history, policies, and procedures), banking products, and Recruit Program customer base (military recruits and recruiters)
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Smart device or the ability to obtain one
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior sales experience
- Prior banking experience
- Military knowledge
