Responsibilities
- Protect client property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
- Perform first aid or CPR
Skills
- Two or more years proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. Retail experience a plus.
Requirements:
MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATLY
- Valid DCJS armed CertificateMust have all gear and own weapon
- Own weapon w/ level 2-3 holster
- Own duty belt
- Reliable Transportation & Communication
- Have Tan pants- Have Black boots
- Have own black plate carrier external vest (preferred)
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8-12 hour shifts
