Key Responsibilities
- Perform the cleaning and sanitation of all equipment, machinery and facility as directed and in compliance with the specifications established by the Company.
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food production and packaging and sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Complete logs and documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Ideal Experience & Education
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or production environment is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with FDA, USDA, or other food industry regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
Compensation
The pay range for this role takes into account the wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the starting hourly rate is $20.50-$22.50.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
- In person at our Hayward, CA manufacturing location.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle small tools or components
- Tolerance for working in temperature-controlled environments (cold)
- Ability to wear PPE including gloves, hairnets, masks, and safety glasses
