About Armadin
Armadin is an AI-native cybersecurity company building the ultimate attacker — an autonomous, agentic AI system that continuously finds and eliminates exploitable risk before adversaries do. We are redefining cybersecurity for the era of AI-driven Hyperattacks, deploying a fleet of specialized AI agents that reason, plan, and adapt like elite red team operators — at machine speed, at enterprise scale.
The Role
We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our engineering team in Palo Alto. You will help design and build the backend infrastructure and AI platform that power our agentic attacker — writing production Python, architecting distributed systems, and working alongside AI researchers and security experts to ship technology that doesn't exist anywhere else.
What You'll Work On
Backend Infrastructure
- Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines in Python that are core to Armadin's platform.
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure — deploying, scaling, and operating services reliably across global enterprise environments.
- Drive observability, performance, and reliability improvements across a high-stakes production platform.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
AI Platform
- Build the systems that enable AI agents to reason, plan, and act continuously — including orchestration layers, job scheduling, and state management.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate and serve models efficiently, optimizing for latency and throughput at scale.
- Contribute to LLM tooling, inference infrastructure, and evaluation frameworks that measure agent quality and behavior.
Engineering Culture
- Participate in architecture reviews and shape technical direction on a small, high-ownership team.
- Mentor engineers and help build a culture of engineering rigor, craftsmanship, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of software engineering experience in a production environment.
- Strong Python — idiomatic, well-tested, production-quality code at scale.
- Solid backend fundamentals: distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with containerized deployments and modern CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows — working alongside ML teams or integrating model outputs into product systems.
- Strong communicator with a bias toward ownership in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience building agentic AI systems, LLM pipelines, or autonomous agent orchestration.
- Hands-on with model serving frameworks such as vLLM, TorchServe, or Triton.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Experience with orchestration tools — Kubernetes, Ray, Temporal, or Airflow.
- Background in high-compliance or security-sensitive engineering environments.
- Prior work at an AI-native or early-stage company.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and equity in one of the fastest-growing companies in cybersecurity.
- Full health, dental, and vision coverage.
- In-office culture at our Palo Alto HQ — work alongside a world-class team every day.
- Learning and conference budget.
