Role Summary:
The E-Commerce Specialist plays a key role in the execution, optimization, and commercial performance of Armadillo’s online experience. This role is responsible for driving customer conversion and revenue growth through thoughtful merchandising, campaign execution, and ongoing testing and optimization.
Working closely with the Product & Platform Owner, the Ecommerce Specialist translates commercial priorities into platform improvements, provides customer and behavioral insights, and executes merchandising, content, promotions and conversion optimization initiatives. The role acts as the bridge between Sales, Marketing and the ecommerce platform, ensuring digital channels support both direct ecommerce revenue and showroom sales outcomes.
In addition to website management, the role contributes to broader commercial outcomes through sales enablement, digital campaign execution, and agency management across development, SEO, and performance marketing, ensuring alignment to business priorities and growth objectives. This is a full-time salary exempt role
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce & Website Management
- Execute day-to-day website operations including product uploads, campaign content, copy updates, and merchandising, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
- Manage product data, content quality, and onsite presentation to deliver a consistent and premium brand experience.
- Monitor customer journeys and onsite behavioral data to identify optimization opportunities and improve conversion.
- Input into the CRO roadmap, and work with Global Head of Ecommerce to facilitate A/B testing and continuous optimization initiatives.
Performance & Analytics
- Track, analyze, and report on core e-commerce and sales metrics (Conversion, Sales, AOV, Units, Orders, Traffic)
- Provide actionable insights on site performance, customer behavior, and product trends to drive conversion and demand.
- Responsible for delivering on e-commerce revenue performance, using data-led insights to manage and optimize results against budget and sales targets.
Partnership with Product & Platform Owner
- Act as the primary business stakeholder for ecommerce trading and customer experience requirements.
- Provide prioritized enhancement requests, customer feedback and commercial insights to the eCommerce Platform and Product owner.
- Participate in testing and validation of new platform functionality.
- Support rollout, training and adoption of new ecommerce capabilities.
Sales Enablement & Customer Experience
- Support online consultation and lead proactive sales outreach to drive conversion.
- Manage the Trade and Wholesale portal, including development, inquiries, and seamless handover of leads to the appropriate team members
- Plan and execute online promotional campaigns (including discontinuation sales) to optimize inventory outcomes.
- Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, supporting product selection and post-sale service in partnership with Sales Operations teams.
Marketing & Channel Management
- Support CRM and customer lifecycle initiatives via HubSpot, including campaign execution and data integrity.
- Work with Marketing to optimize top-of-funnel performance marketing channels (paid media) to drive qualified traffic and conversion.
- Provide ecommerce performance insights and commercial priorities to marketing and agency partners.

Key Capabilities and Behaviors Required:
- 3–5 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital, or website management, ideally within a design-led or premium brand.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in execution, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CMS platforms and familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- Demonstrated experience using data and insights (including behavioral analytics) to drive conversion and inform decision-making.
- Working knowledge of CRO principles, A/B testing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Exposure to performance marketing channels (e.g. paid media) and an understanding of how traffic and conversion work together to drive outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, test-and-learn mindset.
- Experience working closely internal service providers and external agencies (development, SEO, or performance marketing), with the ability to prioritize and drive outcomes.
- Good understanding of omnichannel customer experience and ability to support both digital and sales-driven outcomes.
- Collaborative approach across marketing, sales, technology and operations teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Physical ability to carry up to 50lb, in accordance with workplace health and safety guidelines.
