About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Intern to assist our technology team with day-to-day technical support tasks. This internship provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, and maintaining IT systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong interest in technology, and enjoys solving problems.
Location: This role is office-based at our Bellevue, Washington office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees (in-person, email, or ticketing system)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other devices
- Help manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
- Document support requests, resolutions, and IT procedures
- Support system updates, patches, and routine maintenance tasks
- Assist with inventory management of IT equipment
- Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing projects and improvements
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and GitHub
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
