This role focuses on the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality management systems (QMS), ensuring all engineering operations adhere to ISO quality standards and Arm’s operational best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation:
- Apply and maintain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards within design engineering projects, ensuring processes are documented, followed, and continuously improved.
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Track quality metrics, trends and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Conduct audits and support audit readiness across the Solution Engineering teams.
- Identify gaps and work with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformities in a timely manner
- Training Support:
- Collaborate with training leadership to deliver onboarding, certification, and upskilling programs focused on quality and compliance. Assist in the development of training materials and facilitate sessions for technical and non-technical staff.
- Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate training records, compliance documentation, and audit trails using centralized systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or LMS).
- Continuous Improvement:
- Use effectiveness metrics and feedback mechanisms to recommend improvements to operational workflows, training programs, and QMS documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to identify training and compliance needs, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5 years of experience in quality compliance, operations, or QMS within the semiconductor design engineering sector
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards and QMS implementation
- Experience supporting training development and delivery for technical teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, global organization
