Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of premises to identify potential hazards, unauthorized access, or safety concerns.
- Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents with appropriate conflict management techniques and first aid if necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring law enforcement or medical assistance.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches for record-keeping and analysis.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and conflict management are preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and security protocols.
- Background in military service or law enforcement provides valuable skills for this role.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and emergency responders.
