Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Interior Design Intern, based in Birmingham, MI, with flexibility for some remote work. As an Interior Design Intern at Arlo House Studio, you will assist with design projects, including space planning, material selection, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) coordination. You will collaborate with the design team to create innovative concepts, prepare project presentations, and communicate with vendors and clients. Additionally, you will support design documentation and assist in sourcing furnishings and materials to bring projects to life.
Qualifications
- Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Knowledge of furniture and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
- Strong Communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams and clients
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus
- Passion for luxury design and creative problem-solving
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Interior Design program
