We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Counter Person to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders at the counter
- Operate Toast POS system
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision
- Prepare simple food items as needed, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed according to health regulations
- Support team members with food preparation, serving, and basic kitchen tasks when necessary
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
