The Salary Schedule is on our website. Salary placement is based on Education and Experience.
Arlington has a well-established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year. The first official work day in the 2026-2027 school year will be August 31, 2026. However, new staff are required to attend several days of orientation and training during the last two weeks of August.

POSITION: School Social Worker
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, School Psychologist, or other licensed Mental Health Provider
- Experience working with elementary school students in emotional and behavioral health
- Experience working in a therapeutic and/or school setting
- Licensed by DESE as School Social Worker and/or State Licensing Agency as Licensed Social Worker
Performance Responsibilities
- Individual and group therapy with identified students
- Consultation with staff including coaching and professional development on social/emotional curricula
- Parent trainings and outreach
- Clinical crisis intervention, including assessment and facilitation of hospitalizations when necessary
- Case Management
- Participation in student IEP/Team Meetings
- Other duties as assigned by the School Principal and Director of SEL & Counseling
- Experience with data collection and reporting
- Ability to support improved academic achievement for targeted students
