Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Lutz, FL, supporting the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community. This role assists with resident relations, including responding to inquiries, addressing service requests, and helping ensure a positive living experience. The Assistant Manager supports leasing activities by helping prospective residents, completing applications, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position also assists with rent collection, payment processing, basic bookkeeping, and reporting to help maintain accurate financial records. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance staff, supporting compliance with company policies and housing regulations, and contributing to marketing and community outreach efforts as needed.
Qualifications
- Property operations and resident service skills, including experience in multifamily or customer-facing roles and the ability to manage day-to-day community needs.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, such as handling rent collection, payment processing, recordkeeping, and using property management or office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, prospective residents, team members, and external partners.
