SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for overseeing the Arlington CVB’s website and supports projects that enhance our visibility and engagement. The Digital Content Coordinator will collaborate across teams to deliver seamless online experiences and help tell Arlington’s story through smart, well-executed digital content. This position plays a key role in showcasing Arlington as a world-class destination for visitors, meeting planners, and partners alike.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes compliance with employee handbook and other duties as assigned.
WEBSITE & DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT
- Oversee and update the ACVB’s website, ensuring all content is accurate, current, and visually aligned with brand standards.
- Write and edit compelling, SEO-optimized copy for web pages, partner listings, blogs, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging and a strong, engaging brand voice.
- Monitor website analytics and recommend enhancements to improve engagement and user experience.
- Coordinate with developers or vendors as needed for technical updates and troubleshooting.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and content assets for company projects and campaigns.
- Support the rollout of new digital initiatives such as online guides, itineraries, or content-driven tools.
- Collect and organize partner information, images, and event details for inclusion on digital platforms.
- Assist in planning and coordinating website refreshes, new features, and content calendar execution.
CROSS-TEAM COLLABORATION
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and creative teams to align digital content with broader campaigns.
- Maintain project management tools and assist with tracking project progress and reporting.
- Support internal training on digital tools and WordPress updates as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with WordPress (required), comfortable managing pages, plugins, and media libraries.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to tone, clarity, and SEO.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with CMS platforms, CRM tools, and cloud-based collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- A self-starter with curiosity and initiative—comfortable learning new systems and solving problems.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and energized by working in a team environment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
There are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to this position.
COMPUTER RELATED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Proficient in MS Office products, WordPress, Canva and Monday.com
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field along with 2–4 years of experience in digital content management, copywriting, or project coordination (agency or tourism experience a plus).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
This employee must possess a valid Texas Operator's (Driver) License, Class C, to travel to and from local meetings. Some company travel throughout the U.S. is required for conferences and meetings.
