We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Detailer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform thorough exterior washing and cleaning of vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing to restore paint finish and remove surface imperfections using automotive buffers and polishing tools
- Detail vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, cleaning upholstery, dashboard polishing, window tinting, and interior surface cleaning
- Operate standard passenger car equipment safely following established work practices
- Maintain vehicle exterior cleanliness throughout the detailing process, ensuring a spotless finish
- Use cleaning equipment effectively for both exterior and interior detailing tasks, adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicles or parts as needed, utilizing proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience working in an auto detailing or auto body shop environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with vehicle wash procedures, buffing techniques, and paint correction methods is advantageous
- Knowledge of safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, automotive buffers, and other detailing tools
- Experience with janitorial tasks or general cleaning roles can be beneficial for maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus for moving vehicles within the facility if necessary
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about vehicle condition and detailing services
