We are currently seeking a professional and personable Host/Hostess to be the first and last impression for our valued guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism as they enter the restaurant
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using the reservation system
- Coordinate seating assignments to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest needs and assist with table turns
- Answer phone calls regarding reservations, menus, and general inquiries
- Communicate wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible
- Support the service staff and maintain a tidy, welcoming front entrance
Qualifications
- Previous hosting experience in a fine dining or upscale environment preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Polished and professional appearance
- Ability to remain calm and organized during high-volume periods
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus
