What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Arkview Recovery Center?
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain our addiction rehabilitation, and mental health treatment center. The Maintenance Technician will provide an invaluable service to our clients by keeping the facility operational, safe and welcoming.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintains the overall appearance,functionality, and grounds of the healthcare facility
- Owns the tasks, and processes required to complete maintenance to industry standards
- Reports on processes, tools, and materials used to improve productivity
- Follows a preventative schedule of maintenance
- Responds to maintenance requests
- Strong ability to problem solve, and diagnose most systems present in a commercial building.
- Effective communication skills required; reports deficiencies to the Maintenance Director.
- Computer skills required to complete daily tasks
- Participates in special projects to improve the overall patient experience.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned (moving furniture, restocking supplies)
The Maintenance Technician should be well rounded, with experience in carpentry, mechanical, high voltage electrical, low voltage electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic IT.
