Manage and be responsible for the field and non-field sales force which sell into lab division.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve Targeted Revenues
- Provide leadership and direction to sales team to achieve company targets.
- Control, coordinate and provide direction of sales team
- Train subordinates in reaching key decision makers and to form positive relationships with them
- Train subordinates to prepare and conduct sales presentations and proposals to those customers and potential customers
- Train subordinates to develop and execute programs designed to gain incremental business with those customers
- Coordinate programs and promotions between the distributors, ARKRAY end user customers and the field sales force
- Direct sales responsibility for key clients.
- Develop pricing strategies per market segment.
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP), teach and instruct team on completing favorable and competitive “Requests”.
- Maintain an awareness of industry and competitive activity necessary for successful business development
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues in other ARKRAY departments so as to address customer and subordinate needs. Also to keep the organization informed of industry changes and competitive issues.
- Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by management.
Essential Responsibilities
- 5 years sales experience working within IVD Analyzer industry
- Solid relationships with at least some end users, Laboratory (USL) markets include hospitals, IDNs, reference labs, and physician office labs. Key buying influences and decision makers within these market segments primarily include but are not limited to laboratory techs, laboratory directors, directors of supply chain, and procurement officers.
- Strong selling, communication, negotiation, and management skills
- Proven customer service practices that have resulted in building long-term relationships and repeat business
- Highly motivated and self-directed who function well in a results-oriented and dynamic environment
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Possess sound business case development skills, including competency in the construction of case studies and business plans to validate ROI within each competitive channel.
- Situated or would situate near a major airport
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
