- Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote ongoing health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed dental records ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review documentation for accuracy, update dental coding as needed, and ensure all records are complete and current.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Open Dental for scheduling, documentation review, and record management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, vital signs monitoring, and dental imaging techniques relevant to dental care.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to dentistry patients alike.
