Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative (ARESC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Itinerant Speech Therapist to join our Early Childhood Special Services team. This position provides speech-language services to preschool children, ages 3–5, with disabilities across assigned ARESC member districts.

Position Responsibilities
The Early Childhood Itinerant Speech Therapist will:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services to preschool children with disabilities.
- Implement speech-language services in accordance with each child's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Develop and monitor measurable speech and language goals and collect progress data.
- Provide services in developmentally appropriate educational and natural learning environments.
- Collaborate with ECSE teachers, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, occupational and physical therapists, administrators, and families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations, eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and transition planning.
- Consult with teachers and families to provide practical strategies for supporting communication throughout the child's day.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, service logs, and other required records.
- Travel between assigned schools and early childhood settings within the ARESC service area.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Arkansas Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility consistent with applicable requirements.
- Ability to obtain required employment/background clearances.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between assigned service locations.
Preferred:
- Experience working with children ages 3–5.
- Experience in early childhood special education or preschool settings.
- Experience with IEPs and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with children with autism, developmental delays, or other disabilities.
- Experience providing classroom-based, consultative, or itinerant services.
