What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN – Operating Room, Full-Time position at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center?
Position Summary: The R.N. must be clinically competent; deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation; effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other healthcare members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Required Education/Training/Experience: RN must have a verified current Arkansas license. ACLS and PALS preferred. ACLS required for recovery, (must be obtained within 6 months of hire). CPR certified. Completes yearly review of BLS procedures and emergency equipment. Must live within 30 minutes from hospital. Must be willing to take call as directed and responds appropriately to call back system. Rotates within the department as directed.
