About the Position
AHM, Inc. is hiring a Bilingual Medical Collector for our administrative office in Little Rock. This is an outbound call-driven position focused on collecting medical balances through at-fault parties’ insurance claims and personal injury settlements.
You will communicate with insurance claims adjusters and legal case managers to obtain claim updates, follow up on payments, and resolve outstanding accounts. We do not collect from our patients.
We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, organized, and persistent with follow-up while maintaining professional working relationships.
What You Will Do
- Make frequent outbound calls to insurance claims adjusters and legal case managers regarding outstanding medical balances.
- Follow up on claims involving at-fault parties and their insurance carriers.
- Obtain updates on claim status, settlement progress, and anticipated payment dates.
- Confirm receipt of medical bills and supporting documents and coordinate additional information as needed.
- Identify issues delaying payment and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
- Accurately document calls, correspondence, account updates, and next steps.
- Maintain an organized follow-up schedule across assigned accounts.
- Meet established expectations for call activity, follow-up, and collections.
- Protect confidential patient, claim, and financial information.
What We Are Looking For

- Strong telephone communication skills and professional persistence.
- Organization, attention to detail, and accurate data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and consistently follow through.
- Comfort using email, spreadsheets, and account management software.
- Dependable attendance and availability to work in person at our Little Rock office.
Preferred Experience
Experience in medical collections, insurance collections, accounts receivable, personal injury claims, or legal case support is preferred.
Candidates with outbound call center, collections, or other relevant telephone experience are encouraged to apply. Experience communicating with insurance adjusters, attorneys, or legal case managers is a plus.
