Job Summary
The Computer Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users of computer systems. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and installing microcomputer hardware and software, and managing disk space for micro, mini, or personal computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve hardware or software problems in response to user questions and requests for assistance
- Configure and install microcomputer hardware and software for users
- Manage disk space for micro, mini, or personal computer systems
- Research new technology and methodology and evaluates new products to determine their usefulness to agency users
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
- OR completion of technical training in computer science, data processing, or a related field acquired from a vocational, military, or industrial setting; plus, two years of experience in computer support operations
