NOTE: THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT ARKANSAS STATE HOSPITAL. Evening/Night/Weekend/ Shift Differential is paid as well as overtime bonuses are available.
Behavioral Health Aide Responsibilities: The Behavioral Health Aide is responsible for providing care to mental health patients at Arkansas State Hospital.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Knowledge of behavior modification and group dynamics. Ability to plan, demonstrate and oversee patient activities and patient care. Ability to observe and document patient behavior. Ability to recommend modification of treatment plans.
Minimum Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience providing services to those with behavioral health issues/mentally ill. 30 college hours or more may substitute for 1 year experience.
Salary/Benefits:
This position provides a new minimum salary of $31,892.00 with excellent benefits including group health and life insurance, state pension/retirement plans, paid holidays and annual leave time off.
