The Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training the next generation of Arkansas’s skilled trades professionals. We offer industry-driven apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs across the state in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and more.
Position Overview:
ACEF is seeking a licensed, experienced electrician to join our instructor team. As an Electrical Instructor, you’ll play a key role in preparing students for real-world careers in the electrical trade through hands-on training and classroom instruction. This is a part-time evening role, ideal for professionals looking to give back to the industry and help shape the future workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction based on ACEF’s NCCER-accredited curriculum
- Facilitate hands-on lab activities and demonstrations
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance, feedback, and support
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
- Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required)
- Minimum of 4 years of field experience in the electrical trade
Schedule:
Most classes meet one evening per week for four hours, typically from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
