- Reads, understands, and questions clinical research protocols to ensure reliable research results.
- Conducts experiments and assists in experimental design and planning for protocols and the development of new lab methods, assays and experimental techniques
- Collects laboratory samples and conducts various assays to analyze the samples.
- Learns to operate lab equipment needed to conduct all aspects of research protocols.
- Prepares reports of lab results
- Understand the MSDS's of any chemical and /or radioactive materials in the lab. Keeps records of radioactive and chemical usage and disposes radioactivity and chemicals appropriately as required by law.
- Works closely with supervisor(s) to insure proper procedures are carried out by various lab personnel in order to meet critical deadlines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
