Duties

  • Conduct engaging public speaking presentations at high schools, college fairs, and community events to promote our institution’s programs and opportunities.
  • Provide personalized academic advising and individual or group counseling sessions to assist students in understanding admissions requirements and financial aid options.
  • Evaluate prospective student applications using systems like PeopleSoft and Ellucian to ensure compliance with educational regulations and institutional policies.
  • Interview prospective students to assess their interests, academic background, and goals, offering tailored guidance on application processes and program choices.
  • Mentor new team members by sharing best practices in recruiting strategies, interviewing techniques, and student engagement methods.
  • Maintain thorough records of student interactions, application statuses, and compliance documentation in accordance with mandated reporting laws and school policies.
  • Collaborate with university staff on enrollment initiatives, outreach campaigns, and educational compliance efforts to meet institutional goals.

Experience

  • Proven experience in education administration or university admissions roles, with a strong understanding of recruitment strategies and counseling techniques.
  • Skilled in public speaking with the ability to motivate diverse audiences at school visits, orientations, or community events.
  • Familiarity with student information systems such as PeopleSoft or Ellucian for application processing and data management.
  • Knowledge of educational compliance regulations, mandated reporting laws, and school policy adherence is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from varied backgrounds through individual or group counseling sessions.
  • Strong communication skills for clear articulation of program benefits, admission criteria, and financial aid options.
  • Experience in teaching or mentoring students enhances your ability to connect authentically with prospective applicants.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate applications critically while maintaining attention to detail throughout the recruitment process.
