About the Role

This on site role is hands on from day one, with direct mentorship from our Credit Manager, who’s eager to train and invest in your growth. You’ll manage credit accounts, work closely with long standing domestic and international dealers, and be empowered to improve processes to make the team more efficient.
What You'll Be Doing
- Credit Account Oversight – Review and release orders or place accounts on credit hold when needed.
- Collections with a Relationship Focus – Call customers about past due balances or over credit line situations, keeping the tone friendly and collaborative
- Credit Analysis – Evaluate new accounts, set credit limits and payment terms, and adjust as needed.
- Issue Resolution – Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, deductions, and overpayments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with sales and customer service to resolve disputes quickly.
- Reporting – Maintain ERP/CRM credit records, prepare aging reports and credit summaries, and support month end AR close.
- Process Improvement – Suggest and implement strategies to reduce AR issues and improve collections efficiency.
- Technology & AI – Leverage ERP and AI tools to strengthen credit and collections strategies
- Mentorship – Lead small initiatives and guide junior staff on credit policies and documentation.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1–3 years in credit, collections, or accounts receivable
- Strong analytical skills with basic accounting knowledge (general ledger principles).
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette.
- ERP experience (PeopleSoft a plus); comfortable learning new systems.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel) and basic Adobe PDF skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow into a leadership role
