Position Overview (Summary / Objective) :
ARKA is looking for a Network Engineer with CI and Full Scope Polygraph to join our team. In this important role, you will be designing and implementing network system and security components including firewalls, switches, routers and cryptographic devices for a variety of projects, programs and customers for which ARKA provides cutting-edge solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Work with our customers to help solve their problems by designing and implementing network system components that support a variety of projects and
- Work with ARKA Systems Engineers, Program Managers and Project Engineers to interpret requirements from customers and architect solutions to meet their needs
- Perform installation, network connection and configuration tasks for network and cryptographic devices
- Determine what standard security policies are required and implement those policies as necessary
- Perform test and verification activities to ensure network equipment is functioning per requirements and perform troubleshooting and anomaly resolution as needed
- Design, scope, and implement technical solutions that scale across ARKA business areas and products
- Understand that as a representative of ARKA internally and externally, your decisions and actions will have far-reaching impact
- Explore and integrate new technologies, transitioning operations from traditional administration and deployment to infrastructure as application leveraging automation / configuration management technologies.
- Daily maintenance / administration of multiple production systems
- Assists with Back‐ups and recovery
- Configuration and maintenance of the monitoring system
- Occasional work after hours or weekends at our co‐location facility
