Job Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Greet guests promptly and warmly, establishing a positive dining experience from the start.
- Present menus, explain features, and answer questions with detailed knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system.
- Ensure timely and coordinated delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and resolve issues professionally.
Operational Excellence
- Follow Kaluz’s service sequence and hospitality standards.
- Work closely with runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service stations.
- Handle guest payments accurately, following all cash handling and credit card procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking and side work.
Brand Standards & Teamwork
- Uphold Kaluz’s image of professionalism, refinement, and consistency.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Suggest food and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Support teammates by helping other sections when needed.

- Previous serving experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food pairings (training provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent carrying and lifting of trays up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to move quickly and safely through crowded spaces.
