About the Role
Ark is hiring a Digital Bioprocess Lead who bridges science and customer success. This role combines deep upstream bioprocess expertise with a passion for digital innovation and scientific engagement.
You will play a hybrid role: primarily working directly with customers to onboard and support them, while also shaping how biopharma scientists use Ark’s software and ensuring their feedback informs our product roadmap. Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer onboarding & success – Partner with scientists to understand their bioprocess workflows, onboard them into Ark’s platform, and ensure long-term adoption and impact.
- Apply upstream bioprocess expertise – Leverage deep scientific knowledge to translate customer needs into effective digital simulation solutions.
- Bridge science and digital tools – Guide customers in adopting computational approaches that enhance bioprocess research, development, and production.
- Enable partner engagement – Collaborate with the business team to engage new and existing partners, demonstrate the power of Ark’s platform, and ensure successful outcomes.
- Be the voice of the customer – Capture feedback and share insights with Ark’s product and modeling teams to shape future development.
About You
- 7 years of upstream bioprocess experience in biopharma or biotech.
- Strong bioprocess foundation with curiosity for how digital technologies can transform the field.
- Digitally forward — excited to learn, use, and teach computational tools.
- Exceptional communicator who builds trusted relationships with both scientific and business stakeholders.
- Excited by customer-facing work and energized by contributing to both scientific success and commercial growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, thrives in fast-moving environments, and eager to wear multiple hats.
Position
- Type: Full-time, exempt
- Location: Cambridge, MA (in-person Monday–Thursday)
- Travel: Short domestic and international trips (~3 nights per month)
