Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Banquet Server is to serve group guests in banquet rooms and/or other group event locations. This function will be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures and within the framework and intent of ARK Las Vegas standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Set-up banquet functions in a neat and timely manner.
· Assure the efficient smooth serving of a large quantity of guests in a timely manner.
· Clean-up and secure banquet equipment and control inventory.
· Remove all tabletop items, linen and equipment from the function room as designated by the function requirements and in accordance with departmental standards.
· Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
· Ability to work independently and with limited supervision as well as work cohesively with your team.
· Perform other job-related duties as requested.
· Ensure that rules and regulations in employee handbook are always adhered to.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Requires mobility and prolonged standing.
· Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure and effectively deal with guests, management, and employees in all situations.
NON-PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to read, write, and speak verbally in English with management, employees and guests.
· Possess the ability to perform basic math skills.
· Knowledge of inventory and stocking procedures.
· Maintain skill in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with fellow employees.
· Perception and awareness of customer needs and ability to understand questions, and instructions from supervisors and co-workers.
· Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed to accommodate events.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Preferred experience in high volume Banquet Operation.
· Experience in dealing with customers.
· High school education or equivalent.

· Employment eligibility for the United States
· Clark County Health Card
· TAM Card
Pay: $12.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Health Card (Preferred)
