Duties
- Perform residential window cleaning using traditional squeegee methods, pressure washers, and specialized equipment to achieve streak-free results.
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts to access windows at various heights, including skylights and high-rise buildings.
- Utilize rope access techniques for cleaning windows on multi-story structures, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Clean interior and exterior windows, including glass doors, storm windows, and skylights, ensuring a thorough and spotless finish.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks to maintain safety standards in outdoor and elevated work environments.
- Handle cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, brushes, squeegees, and specialized tools efficiently and responsibly.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with homeowners about the cleaning process and addressing any special requests or concerns.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential window cleaning with knowledge of storefront window cleaning techniques.
- Skilled in operating pressure washers for effective outdoor cleaning tasks.
- Familiarity with rope access window cleaning methods for high or hard-to-reach areas.
- Proficient in ladder use and scaffolding setup for safe access to elevated windows.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to high-rise building work, PPE use, and outdoor job sites.
- Experience with skylight cleaning, high-rise window washing, and commercial or janitorial cleaning is highly desirable.
