Typical Duties
- Serves Students. Serve only and all programs under the Arizona Western College’s Nursing Department.
- Assist students with skill development and the use of educational software.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 3 years of recent experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN), preferred but not required
- Current, active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Arizona, or current, active, unencumbered compact/multistate RN license with privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona, required before employment. Must remain in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing throughout employment.
- Experience performing and reinforcing nursing skills according to current clinical standards, textbook references, skills checklists, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Experience in nursing education, skills lab, simulation, remediation, or competency-based evaluation, preferred but not required.
- Experience with high-fidelity simulation, virtual reality, electronic medical records, or other healthcare learning technologies preferred but not required
- Arizona Driver’s License or Equivalent
$50,544- $53,576 per year, depending on experience.
