CDL Shuttle Bus Driver – Student Housing (Penn State University)
Location: Aspen Heights State College, 350 Squirrel Drive, State College, PA 16801
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Multiple Shift Options)
Position Overview:
Aspen Heights State College is seeking experienced CDL Shuttle Bus Drivers to transport students between our privately owned student apartment community and Penn State University. This is a reliable weekday and weekend role with flexible shifts and a chance to make a positive impact on the daily lives of college students.
Shift Options:
Weekday Shifts (Monday – Friday):
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Weekend Shift:
- Friday & Saturday Night: 9:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Operate shuttle buses on scheduled routes between Aspen Heights and Penn State University
- Ensure timely and safe transportation of students
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment
- Follow all DOT and traffic safety regulations
- Provide dependable and courteous service to student riders
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Clean driving record
- Professional demeanor and strong commitment to safety and punctuality
