The Jiang Group at ASU’s Polytechnic School (Mesa, AZ) is recruiting motivated Ph.D. students starting Spring/Fall 2026 to join our interdisciplinary research team.
Our work focuses on process intensification of meso-solid transitions—enabling scalable precision for material production and resource recovery. Applications span personalized medicine, EV batteries, and alternative energy, with active collaborations across academia (including MIT) and industry.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in:
- Chemistry or material synthesis or crystallization; or
- Reaction/process engineering; or
- Electrochemical device fabrication or automation;
- Strong writing and communication skills
