Job Title: Lead Dental Assistant
Location: Gilbert, AZ
Days: Monday through Thursday and every other Friday
Monday-Thursday - 8am to 5pm
Every other Friday - 8am to 2pm
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Us: Our family operated and patient focused team, Arizona Smiles, is looking for STAR full time dental assitant to join us! We have a wonderful boutique office located across the street from San Tan Mall, in the heart of Gilbert! Our dental assitant role, is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, and we are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of their responsibilities and help guide our assistant team to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients, including sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials
- Take X-rays as needed - Sidexis
- Maintain patient records accurately and in compliance with privacy regulations
- Provide patients with preop/postop instructions
- Exceptional patient experience
- Ownership of assistant role- Staying ahead of schedule, looking ahead at changes, ordering parts/office supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous dental assistant experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional patient care
- Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus
