Customer Service Associate/and/ – Senior Moving Services $20 - $24/hr

Our passion is to remove as much stress as possible for our Senior Clients by providing them with industry leading customer service and operational excellence.

Arizona Senior Moving Company is looking to fill an Associate positions and a Team Lead Position.

We are an organization that:

Serves older adults and their families as they make decisions about downsizing and relocating. When the clients need to move, we provide space planning, organizing, packing, moving, unpacking and new home setup, estate dispersal, home cleaning and other relocation and transition services.

This is a very rewarding job as the clients, like most people, have low expectations of a moving experience and they are so grateful when we move them quickly and efficiently with care and outstanding service.

Associate Position: You are:

• A person who has ability as an organizer, sorter, packer and unpacker, home décor and helping make a project run smoothly.

• A person who can interact verbally with senior clients, while at the same time continue to execute the work at hand.

Prerequisites For The Job

• At least 1 years professional work experience in a direct customer service capacity
• Able to work a flexible, part-time schedule, but still treat this as seriously as any full-time position
• Experience working with seniors/older adults a plus and/or having had own life experience downsizing a parent, grandparent or other older adult
• Excellent listening skills and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated
• Team player and top-notch collaborator
• A positive, “We can do this” problem solver
  
  

The Senior Moving Associate reports to the Team Leader/Coordinator.

• Punctual - must always be present and ready to work on time
• Adhere to company dress code
• Follow all safety precautions
• Responsible for company supplies
• Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in stressful situations
• Follow up and follow thorough in a timely manner
• Interact with clients and co-workers alike in a respectful manner
• Follow instructions easily and ask questions for clarity

Must Have’s/Must Be’s

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be a citizen of the U.S. and present proof of identity and employment eligibility
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English to interact with clients and co-workers
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Computer skills: working knowledge of Word, Excel and comfortable learning new apps
• High school diploma
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Some lifting and carrying of household items (up to 40 pounds)
• Able to work and move swiftly
• Squatting, reaching and moving items around
