Responsibilities
- Travel to various clinic sites, partnering directly with a physician to provide comprehensive support.
- Review scrub schedule and coordinate with providers, ensuring follow-up appointments are scheduled.
- Communicate schedule changes and provider instructions with clinic/APP staff.
- Send, track, and monitor provider orders for imaging, labs, referrals, and medications, linking results to orders.
- Check labs, imaging, and required documents for advanced procedures and communicate with the physician.
- Prepare and ensure physician notes are completed, signed, and locked.
- Respond to and manage messages from the clinic/APP for the physician.
- Set up trays for basic/advanced cases according to physician preferences and assist with room turnovers.
- Enter pharmacy information for advanced procedures, including controlled substances.
- Assist with ASC administrative tasks or clinical operations when not directly supporting the physician.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to travel the majority of the time
- At least 1 year of experience in an ASC, Operating Room, or ER
- Proficient with EMR systems (preferably eCW)
- Ability to travel between clinic sites as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program
- Current certification as a medical assistant preferred
- Current ACLS/BLS Certification or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle strong personalities
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to varying clinic environments
- Travel Schedule with MD:
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Anthem Clinic; 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM at Scottsdale Clinic
- Thursday: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM at Biltmore Clinic
- Remaining time: ASC Hayden (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday)
- Employees must have the COVID vaccine or be approved for an exemption by the governing board.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to move and lift patients as necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry medical supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
