What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator position at Arizona Orthodontic Studio?
Hey, quick question. Are you the person at a party who makes sure nobody’s standing alone in the corner?
Because that’s exactly who we’re looking for.
Dr. Hoffman and the team at Arizona Orthodontic Studio are looking for one very specific person to be the face patients see when they walk through the door. Not just someone to answer phones and check people in, but someone who sets the tone for the entire experience. Someone who makes a nervous kid feel at ease and a busy mom feel well taken care of before they ever sit down.
Who thrives here:
- People who genuinely love people: warm, upbeat, and positive naturally, not performatively
- Fast learners who take pride in doing things right
- Great communicators who listen as well as they talk
- People who stay organized and calm when things get busy
- People who take ownership and don’t wait to be told twice
- Someone who leaves every patient feeling like they were the most important person in the room
What you’ll do:
- Greet patients and families and make them feel genuinely welcome
- Answer phones and manage scheduling with care and efficiency
- Collect payments
- Serve as our backup Treatment Coordinator. This is also a sales role, so you should be comfortable in that environment
- Communicate clearly by phone and digitally, and keep everything running smoothly
One more thing. If you’re looking for a job where you clock in, put your head down, and clock out, this isn’t for you. But if you want to work somewhere that feels good, where you’re personally an asset, where patients remember your name and ask for you specifically, apply. Even if you’re not sure. Especially if you’re not sure. Come meet us.
To apply: When apply to this postion, email me with one sentence about a time you dealt with an unreasonable or unhappy person and turned it into a great outcome. Without that sentence, we won’t be able to consider your application. It’s not just about your answer. It shows us you took a moment to read and follow instructions.
Team members must be energetic, self-starters with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Travel is required between three office locations (Central Phoenix and Scottsdale), reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling is required.
Typical patient treatment days are Monday – Thursday, 8:00AM - 5:00 PM, Fridays 8:00AM-2:00PM. Occasional staffing needed outside of patient treatment hours for marketing projects, team building events, staff lunches and more.
Benefits available including medical, IRA, paid vacation and sick pay.
